This should influence our organisations goal setting.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Premier Listening<\/p>\n<p>Premier Inn launched a \u20ac25 million initiative featuring comedian Lenny Henry called \u201cWake Up Wonderful\u201d<br \/>\nBy listening to customers Premier Inn discovered what was especially important to them. As a result they\u00a0focused on the mattress quality. In addition they demonstrated great customer understanding. They understood that the important issue was customers attaining a good night\u2019s rest.<\/p>\n<p>This provided Premier Inn with the \u201cwhy\u201d. \u00a0The \\&#8221;how\\&#8221; was provision of top quality mattresses.<br \/>\nBy listening to their customer requirements, \u00a0Premier Inn gained many loyal customers.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently the lessons we can take from this are;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Listen to your customers<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Only provide quality content which solves a problem for them<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Don\u2019t try to sell them something immediately<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Therefore listening to customers secures greater engagement.<\/p>\n<p>As a result customers grow closer to your brand. Furthermore this provides a very valuable business resource. Customers become salespeople for your business, in person and on social media.<br \/>\nFinally, the value you provide becomes a Point Of Difference. \u00a0Therefore your business stands out from similar businesses.<br \/>\nMaybe it\\&#8217;ll take some time.
